Starlight, Star bright, The first star I see tonight...

I wish I may, I wish I might, Have the wish I wish tonight....Tonight I wish that (oh wait a minute, it won't come true if I tell you).

Ahhh, my favorite thing to do....make wishes....

I make wishes on so much. For example, wishing on the clock is a daily thing. When it's 11:11, 12:12, 1:11, 2:22, 3:33, 4:44, 5:55 and 12:34.

I do make wishes on the first star I see. Some people don't believe wishes like that come true, but in my heart of heart I do believe it. For years I wished about so many of the same things and they came true. Fluke? Maybe. But I'd rather believe that wishes come true.

My biggest wish of my life was to get pregnant with Jason's baby. Most people know the struggles I had with that part so I won't write a page full on that because that's a whole other topic. But that wish obviously came true after many trials and tribulations. Practice makes perfect right? ;)

With my first pregnancy, I really wanted a little girl. I grew up always wanting a little girl first, and a boy second. My wish while pregnant was (besides of course that the baby was healthy and everything would be perfect) to have a baby girl who I would name Arielle.

Within days of getting pregnant, I remember (and so does Jay) telling him that I was going to have a girl and it would end in c-section. I should of bet money :)

When I was 18, I did a placement at an elementary school with a teacher I'm very close to. She had a little girl named Ariel in her JK class. Boy was she cute. Long brown hair and big blue eyes. That was the first time I had heard the name (besides the mermaid of course). That was it for me, my future daughter would be named Ariel and I sure hope my future husband would love it as much or there may be marital problems. LOL

A few years after I met Jason, my mother took a trip to France. One of my souvenirs from her (which I still have to this day) was a box of 10 mini perfumes and one of them was called "Arielle". She didn't know how much I loved that name either. I thought "WOW what a pretty way to write that name". I think that was my first sign that my daughter would be named Arielle.

A few years after that my mom's friend goes to France and on my list of things to bring back for me is another bottle of perfume named "Arielle" that I still WEAR to this day.

Years go by, and at this point I'm about 26 ish years old. I've been married a few years and I'm babysitting a little boy. The little boy and I go to a friends who also did daycare in her home and we decide to take a walk.  We see a bunch of pre-teens riding their bikes, and my friend says "Hey Ariel". I'm like OMG that girl is named Ariel"? So me being NOT shy, I ask the little (well not so little anymore) if she ever had Mrs. so and so for a teacher when she was 4 years old. She answers "yes". I gasped and said "OMG your the reason I want to name my child Ariel". I'd like to say she was flattered but I think she was at the age where she was "too cool" to even care...hehe.

Oh yea back to wishes. So what do YOU wish for? Money? Peace on earth? Better health? A happy marriage? A baby? Love? Just to be happy?

Wishing is an endless word. You can wish about ANYTHING and EVERYTHING. And no matter what, no one will ever know since your not supposed to share your wishes. (unless they come true of course). So, with everything that has gone on in my life, my family's lives, my friends lives and the world around us, I'd say it's safe to say, KEEP ON WISHING!!!
